Mr. Gonzalez is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Engineering from the school of Engineering Management at the University of Missouri, Rolla. Mr. Gonzalez is currently working on his dissertation related to Home Land Security. He is currently architecting the command center for the Saint Louis Region Metropolitan Medical Response Systems designated (SLMMRS). His primary goal is to architect the system of systems for the command, control, communication, computers, intelligence and information C4I for the first responders in the Emergency Medical Services and Public Health Preparedness in the Saint Louis Metro region. Mr. Gonzalez has his own private practice he is the President and CEO of DOTec Corporation and in Saint Louis he is an affiliate professor of engineering management.

Research Interests
Development of systems devising counter-measures to identify threats related to biological, chemical, conventional and nuclear warfare. From architecting systems for the prevention, detection, protection and containment with special emphasis to pre-threat activity and post threat activity, specifically target to solutions related to civilian applications.

Consulting Experience
He is the Chief Executive Officer and President for DOTec Corporation www.dotecengineering.com and has completed more than 200 projects with industrial clients like 3M in Minnesota and Missouri,Maytag in Newton Iowa, Environmental Systems in Columbia Missouri, Federal Mogul in Indiana and Missouri, Holland Hitch in Michigan as well as Ford and GM, completed project in Badger Meter Milwaukee, Institutional clients like Metro and the University of Missouri Rolla. Government agencies including the city of Saint Louis, Lambert Airport, for the US Army designed and integrated a complete weapon system; US Navy completed a life extension program for various aircrafts. Completed a trigger mechanism for the M1 for Armelite in Rock Island Illinois. He is the President of AphelionIT and ERI recruiting, most recently completed a major IT project at Emerson Special Motor Division, in addition of developing multiple custom systems architecture to companies doing secure transactions in the web with points of sale.

Mr. Al Gonzalez is a member of the Engineers club of Saint Louis, ASCE, ASME; he is active in socio-political organizations like AUSA, HCCMSL, HLG and HRM.
